Safeguarding Construction, Demolition and Renovation Projects, Large and Small

This program will cover the wide range of responsibilities for the protection of all construction sites, from the smallest of renovations to the large construction projects. This interactive training will apply the requirements of OSHA, the Fire Prevention Regulations (527 CMR 1), the International Building Code (IBC) as well as the new Standard for Safeguarding Construction, Alteration and Demolition Operations (NFPA 241)

In addition to fire prevention, such as fire detection, extinguishers, flammable and combustible liquid storage and hot works, the class will cover applicable permits, adjoining area and property protection, means of egress; including from underground locations, historic building requirements, occupancy limitations, roofing, maintaining fire detection and suppression systems and Firefighter Safety Building Marking Systems (FFBMS).
