The Safety Manager shall provide health, safety and environment (HSE) support services, develop a strong safety and reporting culture, track Key Performance Indicators, and ensure regulatory compliance for a high profile construction project. A successful candidate will be expected to manage HSE programs at multiple construction sites. The Safety Manager will also provide support to the Program Management Team by evaluating construction activity compliance with HSE regulations and procedures, document any non-compliance, and issue notice of corrective action needed to the violating entity as necessary. The Safety Manager shall assist the Program Management Team to identify and hire safety support personnel that will work together in the development of a strong HSE culture with a focus on reporting near misses (unsafe acts and unsafe conditions), first aid cases, and all injuries and illnesses. Safety Support staff will report to the Safety Manager.
